Some images I created for a Treasure Island themed webpage for opticians - Specsavers.

As part of and incentive to get staff to sell more contact lenses the company launched this promotion whereby employees could log in to the website with a chance to win prizes by clicking on different parts of a treasure map.

I worked on these interactive webpages which were later animated and appeared on the companies intranet. The theme was treasure island with various nods to pirates & treasure hunts.The winning treasure chest being full of treasure and the unsuccesful one bones and moths. Bonbek Magazine

French kids publication - Bonbek - recently commissioned me to illustrate a story in volume 3 of their magazine. The bilingual magazine's strap line " the magazine for kids that makes parents jealous" is true to it's word as the mag is full of great illustrated stories and games for kids that any design conscious adult will also love. My story covers an epic 10 double page spreads and follows the adventures of a little girl 'Soupolé' who wants to find out why she is named after 'milk soup'! I'm really pleased with the way this project turned out and hope to pursue some more kids story ideas in future... watch this space! You can see some of the spreads belowalong with detailed shots. Ellesse HeritageJust in time for the Wimbledon finals! - Iconic Italian sportswear brand Ellesse commissioned me to come up with these retro designs for limited edition tshirts based on tennis stars featured in their old ad campaigns from the 80s. The tshirts are part of their new heritage line also including the work of 2 other illustrators and will be available to buy on their website soon. They're also currently stocked in Ellesse's very own East London pop up store. The pop up store & coffee shop which is currently open at 77 Redchurch Street, Shoreditch until the 3rd August stocks old and new collections, along with other items of interest & of course my Tshirts!I was also pleased to have a mention in Marie Claire España who seemed to like my designs... Ole!

Times Tables

I currently have this new piece - 'Topsy Turvy' on show in a bar near Milan. The exhibition is a bit unusual in that a lot of the artworks are not in frames on walls but instead displayed on table tops!

The exhibition is curated by a fantastic new Italian illustration magazine nur@nt ( Issue 1 in which I recently featured ) and runs until the 25th August at Officine Libra, Via Buonarroti 72, Monza, if you happen to be in the area!

Venner Shipley

I was recently asked by attorney firm, Venner Shipley to illustrate the cover of their magazine. The company who specialise in patents & trade marks wanted me to come up with an image that would encapsulate 'miscellaneous European patent law developments' - a bit of a challenge I must admit, but think I managed to nail it in the end!

Summertime fun!

As summertime approaches everybody's gearing up for the cornucopia of music festivals the UK has on offer. I recently worked on this piece for the guardian's guide to summer music festivals. This illustration was fun to do, capturing the atmosphere of a summer music festival evening in mid swing!

City SpotsHere's some spot illustrations I worked on recently for major world cities. The icons were for New Delhi, New York, Moscow, Hong Kong & Paris.

Tea For Two!

I've finally finished my 1950's inspired fairground after a couple of busy months that didn't allow me to do much personal work. So all complete now! As it's pretty big & busy I've posted some detailed shots to give you a close up view...

Monster MashHere's a little something I worked on recently... Sausages & monster mash! Just a bit of fun I thought I would share!

Can Can!I had a lovely private commission at the end of last year loosely based on a story that the client had read in a newspaper. The story was something along the lines of an elderly couple that had bought a tin of Heinz chicken soup when they had met and on their 50th wedding anniversary they eat it to symbolise their everlasting love. The illustration had to encapsulate 'happily ever after' and of course the chicken soup... sweet idea! Here's what I came up with.

Happy New Year!Well all of a sudden 2011 is here - a bit too suddenly for my liking! Time to 'axe' all those bad habits & now all the festivities are over time to start some more work! Hopefully lots of exciting things on the cards this year... Watch this space!

Seasons Greetings!

Here's a little seasonal design I threw together for the festive period... If only all the snow was really contained inside a snowglobe! Hope everyone gets where they want to be for the holidays without too much snowy chaos... Merry Christmas! x

As part of their Christmas mail out, my agent - Agency Rush asked all of it's artists to customise a festive snowflake. The result was a wide variety of designs & styles which you can see on their website. Here are my 2 offerings for the brief - Some angels & a Santa Claus... Ho ho ho!!

Inner Circle Magazine

I was recently commissioned by Regent's College London for the latest edition of their alumni magazine - 'Inner Circle'. My work features on the wrap around cover based on a career path board game theme as well as an internal illustration for their new club, connecting a network of alumni groups all over the world.

Can You Draw The Internet?

I was recently invited through Agency Rush to take part in a contest run by creative advertising agency Saint. The objective was to interpret the internet visually. The question was put to industry creatives as well as 10 year old kids ( who have never lived without the internet ) to see who could come up with the most imaginative image. The response overall was very interesting with many strong images & some of the kids ideas are pretty amazing too actually!
